Microsoft’s Bill Gates Was Insulted By Xbox Proposal At First But Worried About Sony
Microsoft's former CEO, Bill Gates, was initially insulted when he was presented the proposal for the original Xbox.

According to Fries, post-obit the initial Xbox proposal, a coming together was scheduled between several Microsoft executives, including Fries, Steve Ballmer, Bill Gates, J Allard, and Robbie Bach. Gates expressed to be rather insulted with what he was presented:

Gates wasn't the only 1 who was rather negative about the initial Xbox proposal as Chips points out that Steve Ballmer wasn't too addicted with the corporeality of coin that would be lost.
Chips explains how afterward several hours, Gates and Ballmer notwithstanding weren't convinced that the console would be worthwhile, until an observer at the coming together asked about Sony.
